NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CHANGE IN ZONING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of South Bay will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter, to consider a change in the zoning of Lot 19, Block K, Walker’s Addition to South Bay (P.C.N. 58-36-44-14-15-012-0190) from R-3 to B-1 commercial retail.

The proposed site plan for the rezoning can be viewed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the City of South Bay City Clerk’s Office, 335 S.W. 2nd Avenue, South Bay, Florida.

At the conclusion of the public hearing, the City Commission will meet in regular session to consider on second reading Ordinance No. 5-2013 approving the rezoning:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BAY, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY’S RECOMMENDATION TO RE-ZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT LOT 19, BLOCK K, WALKER’S ADDITION TO SOUTH BAY, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA (PCN 58-36-44-14-15-012-0190< FROM R-3 TO B-1 RETAIL COMMERCIAL.

All interested parties are notified to appear at said public hearing in person or by attorney and be heard.  Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at the hearing will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  The City of South Bay does not prepare or provide such a record.

The above items may be postponed or withdrawn without prior notice.
