NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON SMALL SCALE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of South Bay, Local Planning Agency, will hold a Public Hearing on June 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the City of South Bay City Hall, 335 S.W. 2nd Avenue, South Bay, Florida.  The subject of the public hearing will be consideration of a proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan to provide for change from residential medium density to commercial use of Lot 19 Block K, Walker’s Addition to South Bay (P.C.N. 58-36-44-14-15-012-0190).

At the conclusion of the Public Hearing of the Local Planning Agency the City Commission will meet in regular session to consider the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE 4 2013

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BAY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO ITS COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN TO CHANGE LOT 19 BLOCK K, WALKER’S ADDITION TO SOUTH BAY, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA. (PCN 58-36-44-14-15-012-0190) FROM RESIDENTIAL MEDIUM DENSITY TO COMMERCIAL USE.

All interested parties are encouraged to come to the Public Hearing and City Commission meeting and be heard concerning the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan.  Copies of the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan and a full test of the ordinance may be inspected by the public by contacting City Clerk Jessica Figueroa, 561-996-6751.

If a person decides to appeal the decision of the Local Planning Agency of City Commission with respect to any matter considered at the public hearing or meeting herein referred, he or she may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes a testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.  The City of South Bay does not prepare or provide such record.  The above item may be postponed or withdrawn without prior notice.
