Evening Recreational Program
August – June
(Limited to 40 participants)

The City of South Bay Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of organized recreational programs and activities for youth throughout the year as well as tutors in our learning center. Registration is required for all programs in order to provide adequate supervision and maximum interaction between participants and counselors.


Safe, Fun, Supervised Environment

• Grade 1 through Grade 5
• Homework Help; Tutoring; Computer Classes; Video Games; Arts and Crafts; Motivational Speakers; Sports, and Recreation
• Tanner Park
• Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
• Wednesday: 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm
• Closed on Friday
• Free
• Daily snacks
• Concession stand will be open
• Registration required


F.A.C.E.S. (Foundation Assisting, Caring, Educating, and Supporting Youth) Program

·       Program consists of 3 PHASES of participants.
·       PHASE I -grades 3 to 5-(limited to 35 participants)
·       PHASE II -grades 6 to 8-(limited to 40 participants)
·       PHASE III -grades 9 to 12-(limited to 45 participants)
·       Tanner Park
·       Tuesday and Thursday: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
·       Sunday: 3:00 to 7:00
·       Tutoring, Homework Help, Computers, Health & Prevention, Culture & Arts, and Life Skills.
·       Dances
·       Field Trips
•       Registration required
